This steel upright is used in a Danish trolley and is slid vertically into the corner profiles. A Danish trolley always needs 4 uprights if you wish to place further plates in your Danish trolley. The steel used is 1.8-2.0mm thick and is formed in a 34mm x 34mm profile and has special holes to fix the hooks of your plate in. The holes are cleverly placed and allow easy adjustment of a plate by 50mm. As this black upright matches beautifully with a black Danish trolley, this is therefore an ideal combination. The finish of this upright consists of 2 layers, the first layer is an electric galvanisation layer and is post-treated with a black layer of powder-coat paint. Powder coating is an alternative process to spray paint. Using powder coating, the uprights are sprayed with an electrically charged paint powder that adheres perfectly to the earthed steel. After application, the powder is hardened in an oven at 180-200 degrees, where the powder melts and forms a hard protective layer around the upright. This black upright is aesthetically modern and trendy and is often used in flower shops, showrooms and Garden Centres (horti) as it gives a trendy look when combined with the black Danish trolley and black Danish plates.
